Satellite centres: Mogobane, Otse and Tlokweng Village
Emmanuel Counselling Centre (ECC) was formed with the help of the Ministers Fraternal. It started as the South East District AIDS Network. In addition to Ramotswa where the centre is located, it now has three satellite centres namely, Mogobane, Otse and Tlokweng villages.
The centre’s activities include counselling, community outreaches, OVC care programmes and youth HIV/AIDS prevention programmes. Also among its activities is the Safe Blood for Africa youth HIV/AIDS prevention programme which aims at mobilising in and out-of-school youth for purposes of preserving a blood donation pool from them that is free of HIV and AIDS infection.
Existing stakeholders and partners include the government, hospitals and clinics, schools, the police force, other community based organisations, home based care groups, the tribal administration, the business community, local churches, DMSAC/DHMT and local youth groups.
